The Lead Cashier role at the SAS Marketplace Cafe located at 820 SAS Campus Drive, Cary, North Carolina, is a full-time position with a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with additional details provided during the interview process. This role is critical to maintaining exceptional guest service standards and ensuring smooth transaction processes at the service desk. The Lead Cashier supervises other cashiers, controls cash and media materials, and supports loss-prevention efforts while fostering a team environment. The position demands prior cashier experience, strong product knowledge, and the ability to handle responsibilities such as authorizing returns and discounts, preparing deposits, and managing cash controls. The Lead Cashier also assumes a hands-on approach in training new cashiers and cross-training other associates to enhance overall floor operations.
