The current job opening is for a Porter position at Fowler Toyota Tulsa, a vital role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the service and vehicle lot areas within the dealership. This full-time position calls for a detail-oriented individual who is customer service minded and motivated to support the daily activities of the dealership. The Porter will play an important role in maintaining the appearance and organization of the dealership's vehicle inventory, as well as assisting with the logistics of moving vehicles as needed between the service lane, service stalls, and the customer parking lot. The Porter’s duties include driving customer vehicles within the dealership grounds, ensuring vehicles go through the car wash, cleaning driveways and sidewalks by removing snow and debris, and performing general cleanup of vehicles post-service. The Porter is also responsible for parking vehicles in an orderly manner and keeping showroom and stock vehicles clean and presentable at all times. Preparing both new and used vehicles for lot display by washing and detailing them is a key responsibility. This role demands physical stamina and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Candidates for this position should possess a high school diploma or GED and have one to three months of related experience or training. Experience in the automotive industry is a plus but not mandatory. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable motor vehicle record are required, as is the physical capability to perform various manual tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, and reaching.
