The Laundry Supervisor position at Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore is a crucial leadership role within a fast-paced, multi-account commercial laundry operation. This role is essential to maintaining the resort’s high standards of cleanliness, quality, and operational efficiency, holding responsibility for overseeing all laundry and valet processes. The supervisor drives performance across critical areas including processing, training, inventory control, delivery, and data management. Key responsibilities include administering and controlling laundry operations to meet objectives, conducting inspection rounds to check production methods, overseeing production reports to ensure accurate linen counts, and implementing ongoing staff training to continuously elevate service quality. The Laundry Supervisor establishes production schedules aligned with client requirements, manages inventories, and ensures the working environment remains clean and organized. They also handle equipment and chemical orders, train personnel on proper usage, monitor maintenance programs, and adjust schedules to meet the evolving needs of both on-site and off-site accounts. Additionally, they participate in critical processes such as receiving, handling, tagging, spotting, cleaning, pressing, packaging guest and staff clothes, and assist with delivery logistics.
