The Front of House Team Member position at Pacific Catch Chestnut Street is a multi-functional role that encompasses several vital responsibilities such as hosting, serving, bartending, bussing, running, and handling take-out orders. This role is ideal for hospitality-driven individuals who thrive in diverse and dynamic work environments. As a multi-role team member, you are central to ensuring the guest experience is smooth, enjoyable, and personalized from the moment they walk in through to payment and departure. This position requires adaptability, excellent interpersonal skills, and a customer-first mindset. In this part-time, hourly, non-exempt role, the successful candidate will work a flexible schedule that may change from week to week, with shifts that could include morning and evening hours. Pacific Catch places a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and continuous learning, so team members are expected to proactively support one another and be open to cross-training in various competencies. Knowledge or willingness to learn POS systems like Toast, QR code ordering, and reservation platforms is a valued asset. Your duties will include warmly greeting guests, answering menu questions, and making thoughtful menu recommendations. You'll manage order entry and payment processing, including assistance with the QR payment system. The role involves maintaining dining area cleanliness, preparing beverages including alcoholic drinks to standard measurements, and ensuring take-out orders are accurate and efficiently processed.
