This role centers on providing essential support in the service department by ensuring customer vehicles are returned in perfect condition and that all required protective measures are followed meticulously. Responsibilities include the installation and removal of seat, steering wheel, and floor protections on vehicles brought in for service, and the inspection of those vehicles to identify and report any damages or cleanliness issues before customers take possession. The role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem solving, and a commitment to upholding federal, state, and local regulations including safety and environmental compliance. Additional duties involve maintaining an organized and efficient parking lot, moving vehicles as needed, managing loaner vehicle returns, and ensuring the service write-up area remains orderly. The individual in this role must be attentive and ready to assist during busy times, including supporting the greeter when there is high traffic, and must remain in the service write-up area unless otherwise assigned. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as this position interacts with various customers and team members. The job demands physical stamina as it involves standing, walking, lifting heavy objects up to 100 pounds, and other routine physical activities.
