This role is ideal for a culinary professional with 2-3 years of consistent high-level kitchen management experience, particularly those familiar with high volume and high revenue restaurant environments generating over $8 million in annual sales. As a key member of the kitchen leadership team, the Sous Chef reports to the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine and plays a crucial role in overseeing the restaurant's operations and staff.
In this role, the Sous Chef is responsible for supervising back-of-house staff, ensuring the execution of food safety protocols, maintaining excellent food quality, and managing inventory effectively. The position also involves scheduling, planning, and organizing kitchen operations with precision and care. A deep familiarity with Italian culture and cuisine is highly preferred to enhance the authenticity and quality of the menu offerings.
