We are currently looking to hire a committed and enthusiastic Cook who will play an integral role in our kitchen operations. This position involves the preparation of a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using various cooking equipment such as broilers, ovens, fryers, and grills. The Cook will be responsible for adhering to our recipes, standard portions, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen policies to ensure consistent and delicious dishes. The role requires maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation, properly handling and storing food products, following proper plate presentation, and participating in team meetings to stay aligned with restaurant goals and standards. This is a hands-on position that demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional hygiene and grooming standards. The Cook will also assist in food portioning prior to cooking and ensure all line stations are well-stocked to support smooth service periods. Physical stamina is important as this role involves constant standing and working in a hot, humid, and sometimes noisy kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will hold a Food Handler Certification and be eager to grow their culinary skills within a dynamic restaurant setting.                 - Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required
 - Ability to read and understand simple instructions
 - Ability to write simple correspondence
 - Ability to effectively present information to customers and other team members
 - Ability to add and subtract two and three-digit numbers and perform these operations using units of American money
 - Must have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
 - Food Handler Certification required
