Kitchen Leaders learn to expertly prepare food, including grilling meats, sautéing vegetables, and managing kitchen workflow. They oversee food quality control, inventory management, and equipment maintenance, ensuring everything runs smoothly in the back of house. This role requires strong leadership skills as Kitchen Leaders are responsible for training and developing Crew members, preparing them for future leadership roles within the kitchen. By fostering teamwork between the front and back of house staff, Kitchen Leaders play a critical part in creating a cohesive and efficient restaurant operation. Chipotle offers a competitive hourly wage for this position, ranging from $16.90 to $18.81 per hour, plus eligibility for digital tips.
