This role is a full-time leadership position with a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000, contingent upon experience. As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel’s operations, from managing and motivating a team of 6 to 12 employees to ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Your hands-on leadership approach will be vital in recruiting, training, and helping your team deliver consistent results that align with brand standards. Guest satisfaction is a top priority at WoodSpring Suites; you will ensure the hotel is always "Guest Ready" with impeccable cleanliness and swift resolution of any guest concerns or reviews. Operational expertise is crucial in this role. You will manage budgets, labor, and occupancy rates while maintaining a strong P&L performance to ensure the location’s profitability. Adherence to brand guidelines and operational deadlines will underpin all your decisions, ensuring the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently. A key part of your responsibilities will include sales and marketing efforts, promoting the property within the local community, building relationships with competitors, businesses, and key clients, and leading guest sales initiatives to maximize occupancy. Flexibility is important for this position as you may be called upon to assist with housekeeping tasks or cover shifts to maintain continuity during unexpected staff absences. You will also be expected to enforce property emergency procedures to guarantee the safety and security of guests and staff. Your role will involve various other duties as assigned, demonstrating a commitment to the success and integrity of the hotel. • High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in hotel management or related field
• Proven leadership abilities
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle physical tasks such as kneeling, squatting, sitting, standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license
