The role of Steward at Waldorf Astoria Grand Wailea is a full-time position that offers a competitive pay rate of $24.30 per hour. As a key member of the Stewarding team, you will play an essential role in supporting the operations of the resort’s food and beverage services. The Steward is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of all cooking utensils, chinaware, silverware, and service ware, contributing significantly to the hotel’s commitment to outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You will be actively involved in washing dishes, operating dishwashers, scrubbing pots and pans, and polishing silver to the highest standards. Beyond these responsibilities, you will manage the stock and maintenance of cleaning supplies and equipment, perform routine cleaning tasks including mopping floors and waste removal, and ensure that clean service ware is transported and stored appropriately. This role also requires you to prepare and stage clean service ware for events and functions, supporting the smooth execution of banquets and other special gatherings.
