The Junior Sous Chef position at Limelight Hotels is a vital role that reports directly to the Chef de Cuisine. This position plays an integral part in ensuring kitchen operations run smoothly while upholding the highest culinary standards. The Junior Sous Chef supports the supervision and training of kitchen staff, assists in food preparation and cooking, and guarantees that all dishes meet the restaurant’s quality expectations.   • Culinary school graduate and/or 3 years of progressive experience in a professional kitchen preferred
  • ServSafe or similar food safety course certification is preferred
  • Prior work experience in a variety of commercial/professional kitchen required
  • Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs individually or with assistance
