The Receptionist position at Highline High School is a full-time classified role, classified under Teamsters III bargaining unit. This regular position provides an essential frontline service from the school's main office, serving as the primary contact point for both internal staff and external visitors. Reporting directly to the building or department administrator, the receptionist will operate a multi-line telephone system, skillfully manage communication flow by directing calls appropriately, and ensure that visitors are courteously welcomed and connected with relevant school personnel. This role requires a customer-focused attitude marked by courtesy, tact, and respect, contributing significantly to creating a warm and professional atmosphere at the school's front desk. 
Receiving and coordinating communications, the receptionist will also perform a variety of clerical tasks to support office operations.
