Delaware North Travel is currently hiring full-time Cooks to join their team at Orlando International Airport in Orlando, Florida. The full-time Cook position offers a competitive hourly wage of $20.00 and is based at Orlando International Airport, where Delaware North operates popular food concepts such as Harvest & Grounds, known for its baked goods and grab-and-go options, and Raw Juice, which offers cold-pressed juices and plant-based fare. 
As a Cook, you will be a visible leader in the kitchen, partnering closely with management to maintain high quality and safety standards while preparing a variety of menu items. You will play an essential role in ensuring guests receive fresh, delicious food served in a timely manner, contributing to the overall positive dining experience. Responsibilities include reviewing menus and guest orders to determine correct food quantities, portioning and preparing food items, and adhering to all quality and sanitation guidelines. The Cook uses various kitchen equipment, such as grills, ovens, slicers, and steamers, and is responsible for maintaining clean and organized workstations. You will perform opening and closing duties, monitor food temperatures, and ensure proper storage of food items. Furthermore, this role requires physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to handle kitchen equipment safely.

 - At least 2 years of previous experience in a back-of-house foodservice position is required
 - Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes
 - Basic math skills
 - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
 - Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
 - Ability to handle dangerous kitchen equipment safely
 - Ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends
