The available role at Giostra is a kitchen leadership position demanding not only culinary skill but also a strong commitment to hospitality and team collaboration. This role is integral in maintaining the high standards set by the restaurant, ensuring consistency in food quality, portioning, and preparation according to the restaurant's strict recipes and service protocols. Candidates will be responsible for overseeing new employee orientation and training, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining cleanliness and equipment functionality. Critical functions include food cost control, inventory management, adherence to safety and sanitation policies, and imparting leadership and direction within the kitchen. The successful candidate will be energetic, passionate about food, and capable of communicating clearly with both front-of-house and kitchen team members. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
