We are currently seeking a skilled Front Desk Manager to join the team at SpringHill Suites Tallahassee Central, a modern hotel offering spacious suites with free Wi-Fi, plush bedding, ample workspaces, and a complimentary breakfast buffet. Located conveniently close to Downtown Tallahassee and local universities, this property provides guests with a comfortable and welcoming home base during their travels. The Front Desk Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth front office operations and delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced environment. As the Front Desk Manager, you will lead and supervise the front desk team, ensuring they provide attentive, friendly, and efficient service to every guest. This leadership role involves motivating, coaching, and managing staff performance to maintain compliance with company standards while fostering a positive workplace culture. You will be responsible for resolving guest issues proactively and efficiently, contributing to both guest satisfaction and operational success. Your financial acumen will be pivotal in maximizing room revenue and occupancy through effective rate management and analysis. Ideal candidates will have at least five years of progressive experience in hotel management or related fields, including supervisory responsibilities. A solid educational background with a minimum of a two-year college degree combined with relevant experience, or a four-year college degree with at least one year of experience, is required. Strong technical skills in Windows operating systems, spreadsheets, and word processing are essential. Candidates must demonstrate an ability to remain calm and objective in high-pressure situations and hold a valid driver’s license according to state regulations. This full-time position offers a competitive salary with overtime calculated for eligible employees.
