SONIC Drive-In is a renowned American fast-food restaurant chain known for its unique drive-in service style, delicious menu offerings, and commitment to delivering excellent customer experiences. Established decades ago with a mission to provide a fun and interactive dining atmosphere, SONIC has grown into a beloved brand famous for its quality food, efficient service, and nostalgic feel. With thousands of locations across the United States, SONIC prides itself on a culture of teamwork, positivity, and operational excellence. Working at SONIC means joining a dynamic team that values employee growth, engagement, and satisfaction, making it an attractive workplace for those passionate about hospitality and culinary service. As a SONIC Drive-In restaurant General Manager, you will take on a pivotal leadership role that combines operational management, team development, and customer service excellence. This full-time role involves directing and supporting all drive-in restaurant employees to ensure that food service is delivered cleanly, safely, and efficiently while simultaneously enhancing the customer experience. Your responsibilities will include managing, training, and coaching crew members, carhops, and skating carhops, ensuring adherence to company policies and employee handbook standards. You will act as the lead motivator and operational strategist, assigning tasks and monitoring staffing levels to optimize restaurant performance. Additionally, you will prepare operational reports, analyze financial and sales trends, and develop strategic action plans to address any unfavorable outcomes. Marketing responsibilities are integrated into the job, requiring you to design and implement creative plans to boost customer engagement and drive sales. The position demands a leader who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating an exceptional food service experience. At SONIC, you will lead your team on an ongoing mission to delight customers and uphold our brand promise, all while contributing to your own professional growth in a supportive, vibrant environment.
