With over half a century of legacy, BURGER KING is committed to maintaining its reputation by focusing on excellent customer service, consistent quality, and community engagement. This company values inclusivity and is an equal opportunity employer, encouraging qualified candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply. The Restaurant Manager position at BURGER KING represents a crucial leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a single restaurant location. As the executive leader, the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is tasked with ensuring profitability while delivering a superior guest experience and managing a dedicated restaurant team. The RGM directly manages a combination of approximately 20 to 45 employees, including an Assistant Manager, Hourly Shift Coordinators, and Team Members. Reporting to the District Manager, the RGM plays a strategic role in driving sales, managing costs, and promoting operational excellence. This full-time role demands a strong understanding of restaurant financials, including primary accountability for the restaurant’s profit and loss (P&L) statement. The RGM actively monitors key P&L lines to enhance profitability and uses tailor-made strategies that leverage guest service, people development, and operational management. Guest experience is a top priority, and the RGM must motivate and direct the team towards exceeding customer expectations by ensuring fast, friendly, and accurate service in a clean and welcoming environment. Addressing guest feedback with effective problem-solving and community engagement plays a significant role in sustaining satisfaction and repeat business. The RGM also leads recruitment, training, and development efforts to build and retain a skilled restaurant team. They supervise onboarding processes, implement recognition programs to boost morale, and provide coaching that elevates individual and team performance.
