The Account Manager will engage with hotel partners within a specific territory to maximize their production potential, ensuring that travelers can always find the ideal property for their trips. This role requires strategic relationship management with lodging partners by delivering insightful data and consulting services centered around revenue management, marketing, and merchandising opportunities on the Expedia Group marketplace. An essential part of the job is optimizing partner hotel content, rates, and availability to maximize customer conversion on Expedia Group platforms. Account Managers also negotiate seasonal deals and promotions that support the marketing efforts of Expedia Group’s brands. They continuously encourage hotel partners to leverage Expedia Group's unique market insights, in-house revenue management tools like Rev+, and various marketing and self-service tools, such as Expedia Partner Central. In addition, the role often involves representing Expedia Group in the assigned market by building relationships with local influencers and cross-collaborating with internal stakeholders to execute business strategies. Furthermore, the Account Manager provides coaching and mentorship to colleagues, drives projects internally, and supports hotel partners to ensure travelers receive the best experience possible. This position requires approximately 20-30% travel for partner visits, highlighting the importance of strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within dynamic teams. Expedia Group offers a competitive compensation package for this role, with a total cash range between $94,000 and $131,500, and the potential to earn up to $150,500 based on performance.
