The General Utility position at Guest Services entails crucial responsibilities vital to maintaining the smooth operation and cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas across the company’s varied hospitality settings. This hourly role, with a wage of $13.50 per hour, focuses on dishwashing, cleaning, stocking, and general maintenance tasks essential to food preparation and service. The General Utility will be instrumental in ensuring that all dishes, utensils, cooking supplies, and service areas are sanitized and orderly to meet health and safety standards consistently. Beyond the cleaning of dishes and kitchenware, this role requires conscientious handling of waste management duties such as trash removal and replacement of trash bags, as well as the cleaning of floors and dining spaces to uphold sanitation guidelines and a safe environment. The General Utility will also assist with inventory control by unloading deliveries and maintaining stocked storerooms, supporting the continuity of kitchen operations. Physical stamina and a commitment to safety are fundamental in this role, as tasks include frequent movement within the workspace, lifting moderate weights, working in wet and slippery conditions, and exposure to temperature extremes in various food storage and preparation areas.
