We are currently hiring a talented and experienced Sous Chef to join our award-winning culinary team at Four Seasons Napa Valley. As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Culinary Director of Auro and Truss, Rogelio Garcia, to oversee all daily kitchen operations. Your responsibilities will span supervising kitchen staff, assisting with menu development, maintaining high standards of food quality and freshness, and managing inventory and ordering processes. This role demands a passion for fine dining and culinary excellence, as well as strong leadership skills to inspire, coach, and develop a motivated and cohesive kitchen team. In this position, you will ensure meal quality and consistency by adhering to designated recipes and standards, delivering high-quality dishes efficiently and cost-effectively. You will also play a vital role in strategic kitchen management, from managing labor and operating costs to ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Your collaboration with other departments and restaurant managers will be essential in aligning culinary services with guest expectations and event requirements.
