The role of Executive Chef at LifeWorks Restaurant Group offers an exciting opportunity to lead the culinary operations of a bustling, high-volume café known for delivering fresh, from-scratch meals with exceptional quality. This is a full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule, offering no night or weekend shifts, thus promoting a healthy work-life balance for the successful candidate. The Executive Chef will be pivotal in managing daily kitchen operations, driving culinary excellence, and fostering a team environment that encourages growth and creativity. This individual will oversee a dedicated team of culinary professionals, including hourly staff and chef managers, guiding them through effective coaching, training, and performance recognition to meet and exceed the café's culinary standards.
The successful Executive Chef will be responsible for menu innovation, production efficiency, and maintaining rigorous food safety and quality standards. This role demands a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask, manage inventories, and execute labor and food cost targets effectively. The Executive Chef will also play a critical role in client and guest interactions, helping build strong relationships that enhance the café’s reputation and customer satisfaction.
