As a Custodial Worker at the Exchange, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both customers and colleagues. This role requires attentiveness to detail, a proactive approach to managing stock levels of cleaning supplies, and the ability to troubleshoot minor issues that may arise during your shift. You will use your basic knowledge of common cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment to carry out your duties effectively. This position offers a blend of independence and teamwork, allowing you to work autonomously while supporting your fellow team members.
Your daily tasks will include greeting customers with genuine eye contact and a smile, acknowledging customers promptly as they arrive, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. You will assist customers by following proper procedures for handling merchandise, including bagging and managing large or heavy items. Accuracy and efficiency in completing transactions and engaging in appropriate customer interactions will contribute to a positive retail experience.
