The Salad Bar Associate role at Harmons plays a vital part in maintaining the quality and appeal of the supermarket’s fresh offerings. This position is focused on ensuring the salad bar is well-stocked, clean, and attractive while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include preparing fresh ingredients such as greens, walnuts, croutons, beets, and bacon, mixing salad dressings and dips, setting up and taking down the salad and soup bars, and packaging to-go soups, salads, and sandwiches. The role requires attention to detail in monitoring inventory levels, receiving and stocking products, and confirming correct pricing and signage on items. Beyond the core duties, the Salad Bar Associate also helps train new team members by mentoring and providing constructive feedback to support their growth and success. The associate works closely with other store departments to ensure the efficiency and success of the kitchen and overall store operations. This position involves consistent interaction with both customers and store associates, demanding excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Harmons looks for candidates passionate about food preparation and service, with a strong focus on food safety and hygiene standards. • High school diploma or GED preferred
• current Food Handler's Permit
