The Janitor position at Dejana Truck & Utility plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary working environment throughout the facility. This is a full-time hourly role with competitive pay ranging from $18.00/hr to $27.00/hr based on experience and qualifications. The janitor is responsible for ensuring that production floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas meet strict cleanliness standards, supporting health, safety, and environmental compliance. This position requires working closely with operations personnel to address sanitation needs and respond promptly to safety concerns. The janitor will perform routine cleaning using industrial-grade equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers, as well as manage proper disposal of waste materials including hazardous substances while adhering to OSHA and company safety regulations. The role also involves maintaining adequate supply levels for cleaning products and reporting maintenance requirements. There is an opportunity to contribute to special cleaning projects including deep cleans and facility shutdown cleanings, which ensures the plant operates at peak conditions.
