The role of BOH (Back of House) Supervisor at Es Vedra Cinemas is essential to ensuring that the kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. Reporting to the Kitchen Manager, the BOH Supervisor plays a key role in leading the back-of-house team by following company standards and directions to create a positive and quality-driven environment. This position involves supervising shift operations with a focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and food quality to consistently meet or exceed guest expectations. The BOH Supervisor supports the Kitchen Manager and General Manager in providing leadership, coaching, and clear communication to the kitchen team, ensuring proper food preparation, safety, sanitation, and adherence to company policies. Responsibilities include daily operational duties such as product rotation, food temperature monitoring, equipment checks, and training team members on new menu items to maintain freshness, safety, and quality. This full-time position demands strong communication skills to effectively report to management and the ability to lead and motivate a diverse kitchen team under the guidance of the Kitchen Manager and company standards. The role requires accountability and leadership to cultivate a high-performance culture within the back-of-house operations. Candidates must be prepared for a dynamic work environment characterized by prolonged periods of standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to flashing lights and loud noises typical of a busy kitchen and entertainment venue.
