The Bag Prep position for the 3rd shift (9:30pm to 6:00am) at Kraft Heinz Cedar Rapids is a key role ensuring the accurate preparation and staging of raw ingredients essential for producing high-quality food products. This position requires flexibility and the ability to operate across multiple roles daily, demonstrating a solid understanding of bag prep, spice handling, hand pre-weighing, and meeting all product-specific requirements. Candidates must be adept at identifying any quality concerns related to ingredients, allergen labeling, cleaning, and changeovers.
This role involves meticulous attention to quality assurance and safety compliance in a fast-paced, temperature-variable manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will rigorously follow food safety policies and safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe work practices. Responsibilities include weighing and organizing raw materials per recipes, maintaining accurate inventory records, staging ingredients, completing necessary documentation, sanitizing work areas, and assisting with changeovers.
