This role focuses on facilitating the company's approved Inflight training programs, primarily for Flight Attendants. The incumbent will be responsible for delivering approved curricula, including oral and written exams, ensuring all trainees comply with the training guidelines and complete required materials timely. Apart from instructional duties, this role requires maintaining accurate documentation related to training events, developing and updating training curriculum, and participating actively in both internal and external audits such as FAA, TSA, IOSA, and DOD. The position demands a professional demeanor to foster the company’s core values and culture, effectively leading and coaching trainees to meet performance standards.
The Inflight Training Facilitator must maintain current Flight Attendant qualifications through ongoing recurrent training sessions and adhere strictly to company and regulatory requirements. This role also includes attending standardization meetings to ensure instructional consistency and quality. A significant part of this job is to evaluate trainees’ performance, provide constructive feedback, document developmental progress, and make recommendations regarding trainees’ effectiveness and employment status. Candidates will often be required to handle a fast-paced environment, managing interruptions while upholding training opportunities' integrity.
The job environment requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and operating emergency equipment, walking and standing for extended periods, and moving freely within confined aircraft spaces. The role involves up to 25 percent travel, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight stays, demanding flexibility and readiness to adapt to varied schedules. Applicants need to have a valid passport, pass background and FAA checks, and must be willing to participate in random drug and alcohol tests.                 - High school diploma or GED
 - At least 1 year of aviation and/or education or training experience
 - Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office applications
 - No visible tattoos or multiple piercings while in uniform
 - Ability to pass FAA 10 year work history review
 - Pass criminal background and fingerprint checks
 - Possess and maintain a valid US or foreign passport
 - Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country
 - Willing to submit to and pass FAA and company random drug and alcohol tests
 - Ability to read analyze and interpret technical materials
 - Ability to write reports and correspondence
 - Capable of making decisions and acting appropriately under stress
 - Must meet physical demands including lifting up to 70 pounds and operating emergency equipment
 - Able to walk stand stoop crouch squat climb and kneel
 - Must be able to move freely in confined aircraft environment
 - Willing and able to work varied schedules including nights weekends and holidays
 - Travel up to 25 percent including overnight stays
