In the role of Import and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Specialist, Tommy Bahama seeks an organized and detail-oriented professional to ensure that all import and FTZ transactions are processed efficiently and comply with U.S. Customs regulations. This position plays a vital role in managing the flow of goods, working closely with the Senior Manager of Imports, logistics teams, and distribution centers to maintain inventory accuracy and support operational excellence. The Import and FTZ Specialist is responsible for auditing shipment documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs brokers, filing necessary permits, and ensuring proper compliance with all import and export regulations. The individual will also provide backup support to logistics coordinators and assist with various warehouse functions to promote smooth workflow and safety adherence. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.70 to $35.53, depending on the candidate's experience and expertise. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in logistics, import/export, or Foreign Trade Zone operations
• knowledge of Foreign Trade Zone regulations under 19 CFR Part 146
• understanding of import/export regulations
• experience working with freight forwarders and regulatory agencies preferred
• proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• comfortable using Customs portals such as ACE and ERP systems
• experience supporting cross-functional teams including Distribution, Finance, and Traffic
• warehouse/distribution experience in apparel or hard goods preferred
• 3+ years of warehouse experience preferred
