The Compliance Analyst role at Imperative Logistics is a critical position responsible for the development, implementation, and management of an effective compliance program. This role works closely with compliance leadership to ensure all import, export, and domestic transaction activities adhere to applicable laws and regulations. Serving the needs of both Imperative Logistics LLC and its Masterpiece clients, the Compliance Analyst supports a wide array of duties including policy establishment, regulatory liaison, compliance monitoring, and investigative tasks related to compliance issues. This position requires collaboration with various U.S. governmental agencies, such as U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Bureau of Industry and Security, Census, Department of State, Transportation Security Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Food and Drug Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Department of Transportation, to ensure regulatory conformity. The Compliance Analyst will be instrumental in maintaining documentation of compliance activities, assisting with the implementation of programs like C-TPAT and ACE Portal, and handling corporate oversight related to penalty resolutions. This role includes facilitating investigations, cooperating with external parties including legal counsel and government representatives, and providing guidance and training to employees. The analyst will also play a pivotal role in developing audit procedures, reporting audit results to senior management, and serving as a vital member of the CargoWise Support Team by troubleshooting compliance-related software issues. The position requires organizing seminars and communication to disseminate compliance protocols and representing the company at conferences and meetings. The Compliance Analyst position offers an annual base salary between $70,000 and $118,000, with compensation based on experience, education, certifications, and other factors. The role requires a hybrid working arrangement at one of several hub locations, with preference for Chicago, Illinois, or Laredo, Texas, among other options. The environment is primarily office-based and involves typical office tasks and communication.
