Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is a vital organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the quality of life for Marines, their families, and the broader Marine Corps community. As a comprehensive program, MCCS provides a range of services and support designed to foster morale, welfare, and recreation. The organization employs a diverse team consisting of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors, and volunteers, all working collaboratively to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of MCCS programs. MCCS is committed to offering a supportive and team-oriented environment, where each member plays a crucial role in advancing the mission of serving the Marine Corps community. The current role available is that of an Instructor within the employee development section of MCCS. This position involves the direct delivery of training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills and operational effectiveness. The instructor will be responsible for designing new courses and revising existing ones, ensuring that all training materials are engaging, technically accurate, and aligned with prescribed frameworks. This includes creating study guides, visual aids, simulations, written tests, training aids, and course outlines. The role demands a high level of instructional adaptability to reach and motivate employees across various learning styles and professional backgrounds. Moreover, the instructor position supports various MCCS installations and occasionally requires overnight travel, which adds an element of flexibility and opportunity for exposure to different operational environments. Coordination with other MCCS personnel to ensure the cohesiveness and relevance of training programs is essential. Additionally, involvement in special projects such as pilot programs, process improvement teams, focus groups, and working groups provides the incumbent with diverse opportunities to contribute to organizational development and innovation.
