The role focuses on driving with utmost care according to CEVA’s safety rules as well as state, federal laws, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for assisting with manual loading and unloading of goods using appropriate equipment such as dollies. The role acts as a crucial link within the company, operating as a messenger and providing superior customer service to both internal stakeholders and external clients. The responsibilities include protecting company equipment and freight by ensuring safety from damage, theft, or tampering, alongside securing cargo properly during transportation. This involves verifying cargo accuracy and condition and checking related delivery documentation. Operational duties include using forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading freight, securing loads with locks, straps, or protective covers to maintain cargo integrity until delivery. The candidate must also promptly report any irregularities like damages, shortages, customer complaints, or unusual delays due to weather, accidents, or emergencies. Compliance with Transportation Security Administration (TSA) security requirements is mandatory.   • Minimum 3 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED

  • Valid state issued Class C Driver's License
