The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety (UOES) division is responsible for managing a wide array of essential services such as event coordination, hospitality, and customer service that support the academic and student life experience on campus. Within the UOES division, the Campus Dining department is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Part-Time Culinary Service Associate in the Campus and Auxiliary Dining Halls. This part-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $17.50 per hour and plays a vital role in delivering high-quality food service to the university community.
As a Culinary Service Associate (CSA), the individual will primarily work behind the scenes, ensuring the cleanliness, preparation, and presentation of food and dining areas meet the highest standards. This role is key to facilitating excellent dining experiences for all patrons by maintaining clean kitchen environments, assisting culinary staff with basic food preparation, and managing inventory and equipment. The CSA helps uphold Notre Dame’s tradition of excellence in hospitality and food service by contributing to the smooth daily operations of the dining halls. Employees in this role are responsible for keeping serving lines, food displays, and condiment stations visually appealing and well-stocked throughout service hours. Furthermore, they operate basic kitchen appliances safely, support dishwashing efforts, and participate in inventory management by receiving and properly storing food and supplies.
