The role of Terminal Operator at Amrize’s Nashville Terminal is a vital position responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment used in loading and unloading rail cars, boats, and trucks. This role ensures the accuracy of orders and expedites the processing of material handling requests to maintain a seamless supply chain operation. A Terminal Operator must maintain clear communication with terminal managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking companies, and suppliers to coordinate and troubleshoot all operational activities. Responsibilities also include the upkeep of the terminal’s grounds, offices, warehouse, and yard to comply with safety and organizational standards.
Terminal Operators perform essential tasks involving both bulk and bagged materials, utilizing various transportation methods suitable to the location's requirements.
