This job opening is for an Imaging Support Specialist based fully onsite in Macon, GA. This role functions as a vital point of contact for radiologists, providing exceptional concierge-level technical support for imaging systems. The focus is on maintaining and improving the workflow within radiology departments by offering hands-on problem solving and effective communication between radiologists and technical teams. Responsibilities include systematically rounding within imaging departments to proactively identify and resolve technical and workflow issues, triaging technical tickets, and ensuring efficient issue resolution through collaboration with IS and biomedical teams. The specialist supports PACS and related imaging systems and plays an integral role in workflow optimization projects such as hanging protocol clean-up and downtime planning. While not engineering-intensive, this position demands a strong understanding of radiology technology and the ability to handle technical challenges sensitively and competently. The role also calls for excellent communication skills and a commitment to after-hours on-call support on a rotational basis, which is compensated as part of the salary without overtime. Candidates must reside near the Macon, GA region to meet onsite support requirements. This position is a temporary role with a competitive pay range of $45.00 to $55.00 per hour, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.
