The available role is designed for a culinary professional with in-depth skills and comprehensive knowledge of all kitchen operations. This is a vital position within our resort’s food and beverage department that plays a key leadership role in ensuring consistent, high-quality food production that delights our guests. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency, as well as efficiently managing staffing levels and department training programs. They must be capable of providing direction and oversight, especially in the absence of the hourly Sous Chef, and will possess key skills such as culinary education, cost control, excellent communication, computer literacy, organizational abilities, hands-on guest contact experience, and culinary teaching expertise. 
It is essential for this role to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including availability during weekends and holidays, which are peak times for our resort’s operations. The ideal candidate will have previous fine dining or line cook experience of at least two years, showcasing versatility across multiple kitchen stations in a fast-paced setting.
