This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the Human Resources Director on all personnel-related matters and assisting with payroll processing. The HR Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth HR operations, including benefits enrollment, employee documentation verification, and maintaining employee records. The position offers a full-time schedule with shifts varying between 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm or 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, including weekend shifts. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $16.00 to $24.00, reflecting the university's commitment to competitive compensation.\n\nIn this role, you will engage directly with employees by answering requests and questions, conducting new hire benefits enrollment, verifying I-9 documentation, and assisting with background investigations. You will also conduct audits related to payroll and benefits, process employee change requests, assist with recruitment and interviews, and manage various clerical duties such as preparing correspondence, filing documents, and scheduling meetings and conferences. This position requires prior supervisory experience as well as experience in food and beverage, which supports the operational needs of the campus.
