This hourly position, paying $19.98 per hour, involves cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, nursing stations, ancillary areas, and various assigned locations in accordance with the stringent standards of the Environmental Services Department. Working the day shift from 7 AM to 3 PM, the Housekeeping Worker ensures that all spaces meet hospital hygiene protocols and that all patient rooms are prepared to the highest standards, including implementing the 7-step cleaning procedure during patient discharge. Responsibilities extend beyond routine cleaning and include managing waste disposal, including regulated medical waste, maintaining housekeeping supplies, performing spot cleaning for emergency spills, and supporting the organization of furniture for meetings and community affairs.
