We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Sous Chef to join our talented culinary team. This part-time role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong leadership acumen. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee the daily operations in the kitchen, including planning, staffing, and internal procedures. Responsibilities include completing daily food requisitions and specials, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen to ensure all dishes meet the highest quality standards. This position also involves assisting in hiring, training, and coaching kitchen team members, as well as playing an integral role in menu development. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.                 - College degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field preferred
 - Minimum of 2 years experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in hotel or resort setting
 - Knowledge of various culinary techniques and cuisines
 - Strong leadership and ability to motivate team
 - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
 - Ability to manage inventory including ordering and receiving products
 - Ability to work in fast-paced environment and multitask
