The role of a Beverage Server at The Sun Rose is essential in enhancing the guest experience by offering hospitable and attentive service. This position involves setting up and maintaining the bar area daily, including managing inventory such as beer, wine, spirits, paper products, condiments, and produce. The beverage server is responsible for preparing fresh garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure high product quality. A key part of the job is greeting guests warmly, taking and promoting drink orders, skillfully mixing drinks following standard recipes, and ensuring adherence to portion control and alcohol service regulations at local, state, and federal levels. The role requires handling all transactions accurately via the point of sale system, balancing cash registers, making change, and securing all beverage stock and cash deposits. Attendance reliability and flexibility to work weekends are important for success in this role.
