Located in Albuquerque, NM, Heritage Companies is currently seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Houseperson to join their team at Hotel Albuquerque. This part-time, hourly position offers competitive pay ranging from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour depending on experience, along with benefits that are tailored to part-time employees including dental, vision, and 401k plans. The role of Housekeeping Houseperson is integral to the housekeeping department, reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor. This position supports the overall upkeep, cleanliness, and efficient operation of the hotel property, ensuring that every guest enjoys a flawless environment that meets Heritage Companies' high standards.
The Housekeeping Houseperson’s responsibilities focus on maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, corridors, and service areas, including the removal of used linens, towels, and trash following guest checkouts, as well as supporting deep cleaning tasks and special projects. Using their keen eye for detail and commitment to safety, they identify and report any maintenance hazards or property damage while demonstrating professionalism and a guest-focused attitude at all times. The ability to communicate effectively with leadership and the front-of-house team is essential in this role, strengthening teamwork and ensuring timely completion of tasks within expected timeframes. Emphasis is placed on following health and safety protocols including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), underscoring the company’s commitment to workplace safety.
This position requires individuals who are passionate about delivering perfection and spotting details others might miss. It demands physical stamina, as team members will spend extended hours on their feet and must be capable of lifting, pushing, and carrying items weighing 50 pounds or more. Heritage Companies also values flexibility, requiring willingness to work varied shifts that may include weekends, holidays, and late nights to meet operational needs. Prior experience in housekeeping or the hospitality industry is preferred, but a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered. - High school diploma or equivalent experience/training
- 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience
- housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
