As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will be responsible for performing regular cleaning and maintenance duties throughout the community. Your work will ensure that all common areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms are kept orderly, clean, and inviting according to established schedules. In addition to cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and bed making, you will be expected to handle laundry and linen supplies to meet the daily needs of the facility. Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning chemicals is essential to ensure workplace safety and proper handling of supplies. You will participate in ongoing training and educational activities to stay current with best practices and compliance requirements. Additionally, you will be expected to report any incidents or safety concerns to management promptly. Your role contributes to the positive living environment by adhering to Residents’ Rights and fostering a respectful, compassionate attitude towards elderly residents. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform various moves and lifts regularly. - Must be 18 years of age or older
- must read, write, speak and understand English
- patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the elderly
- must have upper body strength adequate to bend, lift, shift, move, and/or assist in moving articles of more than twenty-five pounds
- must be able to squat, reach, and stretch without distress
- must be able to tolerate extended periods walking and standing
