The role in question is for a full-time cleaning professional responsible for advanced cleaning projects within the premises of these luxury respective properties. Working Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, this position involves a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties both indoors and outdoors to ensure the community remains spotless and welcoming. The hourly wage for this position is $20.00, reflecting the importance of maintaining luxury community standards.
Key responsibilities include performing duties such as sweeping, mopping, painting, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, window cleaning, and more. The cleaning professional must also inspect their work regularly, adhere to all safety and security procedures, and report any discrepancies to their supervisor. Maintaining inventory levels of cleaning supplies, handling hazardous chemicals safely in compliance with OSHA requirements, and using cleaning equipment properly and safely are also critical elements of this role.
Successful candidates will be those with previous custodial experience, effective verbal and written communication skills, and a customer-service orientation. While a high school diploma or equivalency is preferred, it is not mandatory. Bilingual skills are also valued, facilitating better communication within the diverse community staff and residents.
Physically, the role demands the ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely, work standing for extended periods, navigate environments with varied climatic conditions, and manage responsibilities such as climbing ladders and accessing tight spaces. The candidate must be able to respond to emergencies quickly and accurately.
