This opportunity is for Housekeeping Crew Members who will perform essential custodial and cleaning duties throughout the Coliseum facility. The position involves working during event preparations and during events themselves, ensuring the venue remains clean, safe, and inviting. This role requires a strong work ethic, flexibility to work unusual hours including nights, weekends, split shifts, and holidays, and a hands-on approach to performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks. The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $21.00, reflecting the importance placed on skilled custodial work and dedication.
Housekeeping Crew Members will be responsible for routine cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing floors, and restroom sanitation. They will also prepare and mix cleaning products, ensure the safe removal of debris and liquids to maintain a hazard-free environment for patrons, and help with waste disposal in and around the facility. Attention to safety is paramount - employees in this role are expected to follow all OSHA and in-house safety guidelines, participate in specific training such as CPR and bloodborne pathogen awareness, and report any irregularities to supervisors promptly. This ensures both employee and visitor safety while upholding compliance standards.
In addition to routine cleaning and maintenance, Housekeeping Crew Members may also be called upon to perform additional event-related support duties as needed, contributing to the overall success of each event at the Coliseum. Employees must be physically capable of walking and standing for entire shifts, bending, and stooping as necessary to complete their tasks.
