The Environmental Services team at Saint Mary's Hospital is seeking motivated individuals for a part-time cleaning position during the day shift. This role involves performing essential housekeeping duties critical to maintaining sanitary and orderly conditions across hospital departments. Employees in this position engage in routine and repetitive cleaning tasks using established procedures and specialized equipment. Duties include furniture and equipment movement, floor maintenance such as mopping, buffing, stripping, and carpet shampooing, as well as removing stains from various surfaces including floors, walls, and furniture. The position requires the use of diverse cleaning supplies and machinery and includes responsibilities for task set-up and equipment maintenance. The position is designed for candidates who possess the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions in English, are physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 pounds, and can perform repetitive motions involved with cleaning processes.
