This particular role is for a Full-time Environmental Services Worker at the Moanalua Medical Center's Environmental Services Department. The position is an entry-level role categorized under Facility Services and Materials Management, featuring a variable shift schedule across all seven days of the week. The job requires active involvement in cleaning and servicing designated areas within the hospital to ensure the safety, health, and morale of patients, visitors, and hospital employees. The Environmental Services Worker is tasked with maintaining a clean, attractive, and safe environment with minimal disruption to hospital operations. With shifts covering the entire day from midnight to just before midnight, the role demands flexibility and dedication.
The responsibilities are centered around thorough cleaning protocols including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, vacuuming, and other housekeeping tasks critical to the hospital environment. The worker will engage in safe handling and disposal of refuse and hazardous waste, ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
