The House Attendant position is based at Residence Inn Franklin, located at 4 Forge Parkway, Franklin, MA 02038. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, upkeep, and overall guest satisfaction of the hotel. The House Attendant is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of all assigned areas and equipment, ensuring that the hotel meets the highest standards of presentation and hygiene. This position also involves delivering various items to guestrooms, such as express checkout documents and newspapers, which may be property-specific. Starting at $15.00 per hour, this hourly role offers an important opportunity for individuals dedicated to contributing to a welcoming and clean environment for guests.
In this role, the House Attendant performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including buffing marble floors daily according to hotel standards, shampooing carpets and furniture in public areas as needed, and cleaning guestrooms when necessary. Additionally, they handle luggage assistance requests efficiently and courteously, manage lost and found items accurately, and maintain hotel equipment in proper working order and storage. The role also demands an understanding of emergency procedures and the ability to assist in such situations. The House Attendant works closely with the Housekeeping Manager and is expected to complete special projects as assigned to enhance the guest experience. Maintaining a friendly and service-oriented demeanor is critical to ensuring overall guest satisfaction, making this position a vital member of the hotel’s housekeeping and guest service team.
                - High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
 - Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
 - Ability to stand during entire shift
 - Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
