The role of Bakery Customer Service at Tony's Market is a vital position that focuses on delivering extraordinary customer service within the bakery department. Reporting directly to the Bakery Manager, this role is best suited for individuals who are passionate about baking and customer interaction. This is an engaging position that blends food preparation, customer assistance, and sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for immediately greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and fulfilling special requests including special orders. They will also ensure that bakery products are presented attractively, orders are accurately processed, and complaints are effectively resolved. Through educating customers and offering additional product suggestions, this role contributes to driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction. A strong emphasis is placed on health, safety, and regulatory compliance including HACCP, OSHA, and local food laws. This role requires reliability and flexibility, including the ability to work a flexible schedule with holidays and weekends. Customer service skills, multitasking ability, and some previous bakery experience are necessary to excel in this position.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years previous bakery experience preferred
