The Cleaning Specialist role at Greystar is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, appeal, and safety of various property areas, including vacant apartment homes, leasing offices, clubhouses, amenities, and common areas. This position plays a critical role in enhancing property appeal to prospective residents and ensuring that all spaces meet Greystar's high standards for presentation. The Cleaning Specialist is responsible for daily cleaning routines that include restrooms, models, and other targeted show units to keep them fresh and market-ready throughout the day. Working closely with the Service Manager, Community Manager, and Assistant Manager, the specialist contributes to the make-ready process for new residents by performing additional tasks as needed. Safety is a priority in this position, with the Cleaning Specialist expected to identify and report any hazards or potentially dangerous situations to supervisors promptly. Physical demands of the role require the incumbent to be able to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined spaces. The specialist must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions—including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet—and handle physical tasks involving lifting weights of up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, as the role may require working evenings, weekends, holidays, and taking on-call duties. While the position primarily focuses on daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, it also supports the broader property team to ensure an exceptional resident experience. The role is compensated with an hourly rate ranging from $15.75 to $17.00, with additional compensation available based on individual and company performance through various bonus programs.
