Currently, Liberty Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper to join their team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and overall ambiance of the community, ensuring that all apartments and common areas meet high standards of hygiene and tidiness. As a Housekeeper, the candidate will be responsible for following detailed cleaning guidelines and using proper product usage techniques to perform both regular weekly cleaning and deep cleaning tasks. The Housekeeper will clean assigned common spaces daily, including offices, chapels, conference rooms, and lobbies, along with specific assigned apartments. Key responsibilities involve emptying trash containers, dusting, mopping, vacuuming floors, cleaning bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, and kitchens according to established cleaning schedules. The role requires wearing gloves and practicing hygiene standards between each unit, using clean microfiber mop heads and towels for every unit, and ensuring the housekeeping carts and cleaning equipment are maintained and stored properly. Additionally, the Housekeeper will stock soap and paper products in common areas as needed and participate in mandatory housekeeping department meetings and community in-services. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to follow detailed instructions clearly and safely. The Housekeeper must be able to work every other weekend and maintain professionalism and kindness when interacting with residents, visitors, and staff. A neat personal appearance, good hygiene, appropriate uniform, and nametag wearing are also expected.
