Working under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager and within the 111 Facilities department, the Housekeeper will perform regular cleaning duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces throughout guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces. This role requires strong attention to detail to ensure cleanliness standards are upheld and any potential maintenance or safety issues are promptly identified and reported. The Housekeeper must also follow established cleaning and safety protocols thoroughly to maintain a safe working environment. Additionally, this position involves restocking cleaning supplies, maintaining cleaning equipment and storage areas, and effectively communicating with the team and management to coordinate schedules and requests. The ability to work independently while following instructions closely is essential, as is flexibility to work weekends and holidays when required. Physical stamina and manual dexterity are crucial since the role often involves lifting, bending, standing, and reaching for extended periods, sometimes exceeding 8 hours per shift. Successful candidates typically have prior housekeeping or cleaning experience, familiarity with cleaning products and floor care techniques, and basic mathematical skills useful for inventory management.
